NEM GDX EPS FORWARD EARNINGS.

EPS FORWARD EARNINGS. It’s important to know the company numbers. I used to think I needed all of them, but it turns out I only need these.

Nem . mr10 07/08 dn 22 1.52/1.63 45.2* -6.6* .J10 1.56/1.94 47.5Y n24 1.66/2.00 o20..dn11./.dn.17.--1.66/2.15..jn17 06 hot 1.86 / 2.60 06/7

Nem . mr10 07/08 dn 22 1.52/1.63 45.2* -6.6* this translates to….

Nem March 10 …I posted 07/08 earnings from Yahoo of 1.52/1.63 (200 day yahoo was 45.2) and 6.6% under 200 day. dn22 = down 22%, explained below…

J10 1.56/1.94 47.5Y this translates to….

Jan 10 .. I posted 06/07 earnings from yhoo of 1.56 / 1.94 (200 day yahoo was 47.5) (no one had 07/08 in Jan. Except Nasdaq site / I rarely use Nasdaq) )

Jan 10 I posted…

Jan (06 = 1.56)
Jan (07 =1.94)*****

ON March 10, I POSTED,

Mar (07 = 1.52)****
Mar (08 = 1.63)

Take (Jan 07 = 1.94)**** and (Mar 07 = 1.52)*****

On calculator type 1.94 (hit minus key) type 22 (Hit % key) that equals 1.52

That’s a 22% drop (FROM Jan to March ), which in my short hand is (22dn)
It’s fair to say, that NEM eps is trending down. To see a 22% drop, however is catastrophic, for the stocks price.

So, based on this information, I‘m more inclined to short NEM, and expect deeper discounts in price before I buy it.
I now hope you see the relevance, forward eps estimates, are in determining the stock’s future price. I certainly do.

Speaking of BUY on FEB 25/26, I was screaming on Tim Knight’s site , (short GDX), But alas, I was in a forest full of trees, and no one could hear me. (And then the Market CRASHED) beanie was screaming short PCU, very few heard him.

By the way, GDX was perfectly double topped, feb 26th. AND the Put returned (&%$#^) amount of profits…

So, just you keep in mind, EXBD AND DIA posts, because this will all tie together, in the next few posts.
